How do u get rid of ants that r in ur walls??

so i just started noticing ants coming out of our walls in the living room n into the downstairs bathroom. we live in a townhome apartment so its their responsibility to get rid of them..we have a new landlord but the when we told the old one when we first noticed them all she said was o they will go away on their own..even though the contract thingy says if we notice bugs we need to let them know should i let the new manager know..he doesnt seem like such a tight ass like the old hopefully he'll get rid of em but if they r in the walls will he have to open that wall just so fed up n the ants r starting to make their way into the kitchen n the down stairs bedroom where my kids play.

i clean like a mad woman so there is no mess they can snack on lol but they dont want to leave!

  • They need to contact pest control. If they choose not to do so, I'd send them the bill and take the amount off of your rent next month.

  • There is probably a water leak in one of the walls from the roof. They are attracted to wet wood. Do the walls seem damp or is there a musty oder or staining? I would bring it to the landlords attention or he'll have a worse mess on his hands. Water damage only spreads. GL

  • We actually have this device that sends out a electronic sound like a dog whistle only pests can hear. We havent had any problems with ants, flies, moquitos, nothing (inside or out we have them plugged in) since. They even supposedly keep mice and rats away. I would look into one of those. You can also call pest control, and you can get those ant control disks. They work pretty well.
