  • Just because I read a post does not mean that I have information that will be useful. I won't know if I can help until I read the post.

  • Do you really want more answers that are either bad advice or the same as other responses?

  • A lot of times people will have already responded with what I would have said, so I vote them up and move on. No point in retyping what somebody already posted.

  • sometimes I don't post because I have a negative view on something being posted and I just feel like anything I post might be viewed as antagonistic, so I don't post because the person is looking for support and I can't add anything to help them - so I move on. I typically try to stay away from religion or politics but I post a lot about relationships - I'm sure every has their "favored" subjects. Just a thought.

  • some CF may not have advice or answers for you so they probably would rather not try and answer...

  • People generally won't answer unless they can offer some advice, which I think is a good thing. I'd rather see 4 good replies (or heck, even 1) than a bunch of "IDKs" or something like that, but that's just me personally. Few replies doesn't mean no one cares, it just means that only a few people can actually offer some advice or whatever. Or at least that's been my experience.

  • I'm not going to respond when the same answer has already been post 10 times. I also don't respond when I don't have anything nice to say. I do vote up responses that I agree with though.
