  • I don't believe it does because leaking fluids is a sign that a baby is almost about to be born. And normally a tear in the sac helps bring on contractions.

  • I don't think so but I would ask your doc. I'm pretty sure once its torn then its torn.

  • No a tear doesn't heal itself. That is what happened to me when I was preggers with my first. My bag of waters never actually broke. It is most uncomfortable and I wished for the gush instead of the trickle. The dr had to go in and tear it open, but didn't do that until it was nearly empty.
