Does anyone know of any fun crafts to do at home?

My kids are 3 and almost 2 and I want to do a family night on my dh day off. Are there any fun crafts or activities we can do that are age appropiate for my kids? Also maybe something that doesn't really have to cost a lot of money. More home made than store bought.

  • Take an old t-shirt and cover it in hand prints with fabric paint... you get to recycle a stained shirt into something they can play in, and have fun doing it for about $2.

  • You can also get $1 picture frames and cheap acrylic paint and start working on gifts for Christmas and then put pictures in them later.

The picture frames and paint you can get at Micheal's and the Craft Smart paint is 59 cents a bottle.

  • You can also get beads that are on sale from craft stores and some elastic for jewelry making and make bracelets or have them paint or draw pictures and use the beads to glue onto their pictures to make them cute.
