I have a quick ?.....

Im going to start tracking my temps but instead of using a basil thermometer Im going to use a digital one and I was wondering if I can check my temp under the arm instead of the mouth. Will this be accurate? I know that my sons ped. tells me to always ad a degree when reading the temp. under the arm.

  • No. You are looking for a very small change in temperature, and an underarm temp is not accurate enough. I used a digital, but it was specifically designed for basal temp tracking.

  • def do the oral. when charting temps you are supposed to use oral or vaginal and the best of these two are oral. also you can use a regulart digital thermo.
