How do I cure pregnancy insomnia?

I don't feel tired until 2 or 3 in the morning. I don't drink caffeine after 3pm, so I don't know what's going on. I've tried hot, decaf tea, benadryl, and warm milk and...nothing! I'm still wide awake!

  • I had the whole pregnancy insomnia thing my last pregnancy and I tried everything you mentioned and had no relief. I even had a few weeks of Ambien and that did nothing. I got over mine within a month or so, and hopefully the same will happen to you. Good luck.

  • sadly, its a huge part of pregnancy. it made both of mine so much worse. it would have been so much easier if i could sleep. It was terrible all around for me. I wanted to sleep and forget all my pain and morning sickness that lasted throughout the whole thing but insomnia killed me. Sorry, tough it out.
