  • Yeah....when DH farted and it smelled so sick it made our 4y throw up it occured to me that I should've considered marrying someone a little less disgusting.

  • I honestly never really thought about it until they were my ex's lol, but they say love is blind and hindsight is always 20/20. My second ex was brought up dirt poor and really could not ever get comfortable with my family. It was a huge thing for him, in the end it was too much I guess to try to live up to because he kept bringing it up. How he could never give me the things I had always had etc etc. He didnt get I didnt care about those things I wanted to be with him. So yea I married down I guess. This time my husband isnt rich or a genius either, but again, I can care less. I love him.

  • no, we are different and have different strengths, there are things that I am good at that my husband is not, but I have never once thought of him as being less then I am, or that I am better then him.

  • If I had married my ex I def would have married down. In more ways than one. We were engaged too. My fiance now I feel like we are pretty equal...but as they say....love is blind. lol

  • UpSheRises, that was way to damn funny!!!

I am totally with LovingMamma here. My hubby and I compliment each other. What I'm not so good at, he's good at. What he's not so good at, I'm pretty good at. We are good for each other.

  • If I'd married my DD's bio dad, yes, I definitely would've been marrying down...

but thank God I had the courage to leave him 2 months before our wedding!

I've never felt that way about my DH...he's great...we compliment each other, like LovingMamma said...
