Pregnant people annoy me when they say their fat ( my cousins comment)

My cousin just commented on facebook that she hates it when pregnant people complain that they are fat. She has no children so she has no idea how pregnant people feel, lol. How would you respond to her comment?

  • I laugh and make jokes about how "fat" I am/am getting.  When she has the pleasure of feeling like a freaking beached whale, then she deserves to comment, lol.

  • Sometimes we do just feel fat, and there is a point probably about 3-4 months depending on the person you do just look fat, it doesn't look like a baby bump yet :)

  • I don't understand the comment personally. I mean I felt 'big' and in literally big when I was pregnant but never fat. Feeling fat and feeling like your body is big and out of proportion are very different things. 'Fat' is such a negative term and I never felt negative about my body when I was pregnant just disproportionate!

  • I'd say well most people put on a load of weight when theyre pregnant so why can't they complain about it?

  • I wasn't offended by her comment in any way, but it made me giggle because my cousin is one of those people that if she gains even a half a pound she is at the gym for 4 hours working it off. Someday she will understand and I am sure she will be complaining LOL. And I agree yesmaam- there is a point where you just "feel" fat because it is just bloating rather than the baby.
