How can a cactus plant be trans planted to a bigger container without getting stuck by the thorns?

    Some rubber dish gloves worked for me...

  • I'd use an old towel folded over and heavy gloves to move it.

  • Wrap it in newspaper or burlap (the cactus, that is ~)
