Anybody Notice High Gas Prices/Libya?

Just wondering if anyone noticed that we are all paying through the nose for gas and then all of a sudden we're going to war with Libya, or as some have called it, Military Action?

  • We always will find someone to go to war with when we need something from them.

  • I am beginning to think this gas business is just a way to get our money. Gas was going up before Libya ever happened. There really is no reason for it. We don't get any oil from Libya that I know of and no wells have blown up, no countries have been blown away yet we are paying through the nose.

  • Yep! Obama is ALL about getting his hands on foreign oil--even if it means going to war over it!!

  • Yep I noticed. The news had oil down to around $89 a barrel and it jumped to $103 a barrel when we started dropping bombs.

  • Gas prices were heading up before Libya blew up. There were many causes. My dh told me the other day he paid $50+ for a tank of gas for the first time ever. Even my CR-V takes $42 to fill up
