  • It's absolutely normal, especially if you have morning sickness or your appetite is lower than usual. I lost weight in my 1st trimester and didn't gain hardly anything until my last trimester and had a perfectly healthy 8 lb baby boy.

  • Yes. It doesn't happen to everyone, though. I lost about 15 in my first trimester, and it came right back in the second, plus interest.

  • I did with my middle child. I felt nauseated all day so I didn't eat much. I didn't gain until my 2nd trimester and every thing was fine.

  • Oh yes, especially if you have terrible morning sickness. I lost 10 pounds in a month with my daughter.

  • I'm not sure if it's "normal", per say....but it happened to me with my pregnancies - but I always went on to gain between 40-50lbs.
