What can I do to help her sinuses?

My poor baby girl has terrible allergies right now and has a headache. I gave her some Motrin several hours ago and just gave her some Tylenol. I'm going to put some baby vix on her chest. Is there anything else I can do to help her? :( She's almost 2.

  • Allergies bite big time .. I would maybe take her in .. Doctors can prescribe her some kind of anti histamine for her age range .. Some maybe over the counter like Zyrtec or Clartin .. If she has sinus infection it would also be a good idea to have her evaluated to maybe see if she needs an antibotic .. My kids seem to get ear infections and sinus infections after allergies or colds .. Good luck and i hope she feels better.

  • A humidifier may help. Run a Steamy shower and sit her in the bathroom while it's steamy may also help. Change her cloths if she's been outside as the pollen gets on everything.

  • Little Noses saline drops. They helped so much with my grandsons allergies. Saline and a bulb syringe.

  • I use little noses for my Gr-Son all the time when he's here. Humidifier is what I use for myself w/my sinus allergies, plus a saline for adults, they work and their not habit forming. My Gr-DD has allergies depending how young, they do have Zyrtec for children as well as adults, ask your Dr. about that.

  • She can start taking Claritin at 2 -- My dr prescribed my LO singular at 2 as well. It helps a lot!

  • Thanks everyone. I've tried everything I can tonight and will be calling her dr tomorrow. Poor baby. She did seem to be doing a lot better. She doesn't have a fever, but I'm worried that it could be turning into a sinus or ear infection.
