  • Maderma works good for scars. Stretch marks however only plastic surgery will make them go away completely

  • Baby oil rubbed into the skin during pregnancy will stop you getting stretch marks, but the only thing to make them fade is time.

  • Other than expensive laser treatments there are no "miracle creams" so don't waste your money on expensive creams. However, if you moisturize stretch mark prone areas daily it can help stretch marks not look as bad . Also a little sun helps blend stretch marks in....but just a little. Wear your sunscreen! Stretch marks are better than skin cancer! Stretch marks will never completely disappear but they will fade over time.

  • Palmer's did nothing for me. I would like to try the new maderma stretch mark cream. I know their scar treatment works well. I also plan on loosing a ton of weight and then when I can afford it I will get some work done. There is no other way yet to help me. If your stretch marks are not very severe, simply massing the area can help by getting more blood flow to the area. That is actually why some people see results with the creams, good genes and massaging the cream in to get the blood flow. Good luck :)

  • Palmer's didn't do much for me, I used it faithfully while I was prego. I've been wondering about BioOil, I heard it was good? Idk.

  • I have used both Mederma and Bio oil, and I liked Mederma a lot more. It did help reduce the stretch marks appearance but nothing I have tried so far has made them go away. Palmers did absolutely nothing for me either except moisturize.

  • true story. mine i scrubbed every shower with an exfoliating brush and cocoa butter body wash, scrubbing removes layers of skin slowly. then i made this mixture of pure liquid vitamin e (broke open the capsules) aloe vera, baby oil, and any regular moisturizer. i mixed all that together and rubbed it on after the shower. i also took the vitamin e capsules because skin heals from the inside as well as out. all SM start on the inside. i had these thick god awful ones on my inner thighs, like freddie kruger tried to rape me or something. they're gone now. it took a few months though and had to be done every day
