How do you know when you're going into labor?

  • If you have strong, regular contractions that don't go away when you rest,and get stronger and more frequent when you walk, it's a pretty safe bet that you are in real labor.If you lose your mucus plug, that's also a sign that labor is close. As always, check with your Dr. about what he wants you to look for and when he wants you to call him.

  • There are a variety of signs. I knew when my water broke and mild cramps started.
