2 Bumps

I am bored...

i have recently started a diet.... and i dont eat anything after 6, which really helps me to loose weight on prev attempts and now as well...

i have started this few days back and this is working out well for me... my problem is i always put on weight by snacking when i watch TV, when baby goes to bed, that is my own time you know... myself and my hubby we watch films and we always munch something( the worst thing is he doesn't put on weight but i do)

Now that i dont snack anymore(i dont crave snacks as well now) i feel something is missing out of my life,,,, i feel bored,,,, those days when i feel bored its like "let me see what I can eat" but now its no more there.... any suggestions... i am scared that i will be more bored and get back to my bad eating habits again?:(

  • Take an early evening walk with someone. Do exercises while you watch TV. Work on CafeMom.

  • what about having a little snack after the kids are asleep like the 95% fat free popcorn or some fruits.I love those new special k chips!! they are so yummy. If im bored while watch tv , i will get in the floor and do some excerises. just make sure your snack is low fat or low cals and you should be fine!!! good luck :)

  • You can try doing something to keep your hands busy, like knitting or playing cards. Boredom is dangerous when it comes to snacking!

  • Thanks guys for your suggestions....yesterday i had dinner after six days of no dinner..... and i did snack on a bit on a choco chip cookie.... yes i agree i need to buy some fat free or low fat chips or something...... today is yet to happen... oh please almighty god... dont let cravings come near me..................:)

  • If you crave a snack, eat an apple or have a small bowl of Special K and go for a walk.

  • Read, knit, write, exercise....fill the "bored" time with activities, doesn't have to be exercise, but that's a bonus. Trick is to keep yourself FROM getting bored =)
