Has anyone reinvented themselves?

Have you or anyone you know changed their 'course in life' due to the economy?

  • Not due to the economy. Just because I wanted to or needed to. I think on average most people change careers 7 times in their lifetime. So it is really normal in reality to do that.

  • I have! I started going to school to become an Elementary school teacher, but it seems too risky! I've always wanted to teach little children but the future oof teaching doesnt look too promising. I am now going to become a mid-wife Im super excited and lets face it people will always be having babies :D

  • Yes, was laid off two years ago. Went to school and now I am a Realtor. It is the best job I have ever had.

  • i have changed who i was.. and it was one of the hardest things i have done. it's been a change i have been working on for 8 years. some of it is part of the economy and some of it is not. and it's even harder to stay on the track that you really want to be on.
