I went to the doctor yesterday..

i'm measuring good and the doctor felt and said she is head down : ]
this is my first pregnancy so idk much but i think this is a good thing right!? lol
i'm 33 weeks, will she stay that way?

  • Head down is good, I don't know at what point they will stay that way for sure, so I won't answer that.

  • It's possible she'll stay that way. My son was head down around the same time but he wasn't ready to come out at all. I ended up with an emergency c-section at 37 weeks. He would have stayed in there!!

  • The positioning can change anytime, many times. ;-)
    And measuring on schedule is fine = normal.

    How do you like this doctor?
    Do you feel you can ask him your questions?
    You can create a notebook with on-going concerns and questions to take to your prenatal appointments.
    I suggest jotting down the responses too.

  • The baby could turn again. When your a week away from the due date and the baby is not head down thats the time to think now what, but not get overly worried about it. Some babys turn till labor starts.

  • my cousin turned the day between when my aunt's last appt. and the day she went into labor. you just never know
