Essentials for baby?

We are on a *VERY* tight budget ...I will be cloth diapering & breastfeeding(no bottles or passys) so what are the absolute essentials that you would get for baby? I need a bassinet but other than that (i have a car seat already that i bought for her) I have a 2yr old son but i didnt keep any baby baby stuff sooo...absolute essentials(swing, bouncer?, etc?) and why?

  • i'd get at least one binky...every baby is different. my son took a binky but dd hated them. rather suck a binky than a thumb, you can't cut a thumb off. i'd also get a bottle just in case. some babies don't take to the breast well, or something could happen where you need one.

essentials: bassinet/crib, car seat, swing, bouncer, blankets (you can use recieving blankets as burp cloths), bibs, unless you don't mind their clothes getting soaked during the teething process, their clothes being spit up on, ect. (your baby could have acid reflux) infant tylenol, cuz you never know (friend of mine's baby got an ear infection at 3wks old), wipes. that's all i can think of.
