  • I eyed just about everything. I usually use about a cup and half of self-rising flour about a tbsp of shortening, and a tsp of butter. Once you have that in a bowl take a fork and cut shortening and butter into the flour until the mixture is incorporated, it'll look kinda grainy. I add buttermilk as I mix until mixture holds together. Flour surface of counter, roll out dough, and then cut place in oven until slightly golden brown. Preheat oven to 450.

  • Bisquick box, but I use a generic brand instead. Best ever biscuits IMO come from either Jiffy or Hy-Vee (store) brands. Or google Cracker Barrel's copycat recipe.
