How much do you know about Autism?

  • Only that they hate human contact, but with extreme discipline, love and encouragement, they can live relatively successful lives. I'm afraid that doesn't even scratch the surface.

  • Honestly nothing besides that kids who are autistic is extremely loving and wonderful. Very unique in their own ways. I use to tutor autistic kids.

  • Somedays I feel like I know pretty much, other days, not so much. My almost 12 year old son is has autism. It's a ride, that's for sure.

  • Quite a bit seeing as I have a son who has a form of HFA. I have a multiple friends, including my very best friend who also have 'spectrum children' For me learning about Autism is an on going project!

  • I have a 13 year old with autism, an 11 year old who was diagnosed with autism but has "outgrown" his diagnosis - no longer tests anywhere on the spectrum, and a 2 year old who had a developmental delay, plus a large group of friends who are parents of kids with ASD I know quite a bit.

  • Not as much as I used to. I worked with a few autistic children in the speech clinic when I was in college.

  • I have a lil girl that has autism.They go craizy If you brake there rotten,They dont like it when ppl make eye contact.They are very smart my lil girl reads the phone book she can tell you a name with a page n the number.But talking wies she has a speach problem.She dont play with other kids she likes to stay to her self.There is the food texture it drives her craisy.But it varrys every child is differint. also my duaghter use to hurt her self,she bit chucks out of her arms,she rocked n then she would head butt the wall.n alot of other stuff.
