How to get sons to bond better

our sons are aged 7 years apart. we have a 8 yo and a 17m what kinda activities could they do together? big brother thinks hes to old to play with him, and i dont expect him to do all baby things as i dont want the baby doing to big of big boy things. what would something in the middle be?

  • That's a pretty good age gap. My oldest and my middle are 7 and a half years apart so I know how you feel. My middle and my youngest are 22 mo and they are best friends. Maybe you could give big brother some "jobs" to do to help little brother? This might help the bond ( and maybe give you a bit of a break)

  • Simple things like rolling a ball to each other. It's tough right now but should get better as time goes on. Sorry, not much help........
