Wow- just heard that the active duty is not getting paid on the 1st...

DH was just telling me that his friends on active duty (he's not active anymore, switched over) got an email from their commander saying all active duty are not getting paid this coming up payday, the 1st, and possibly the 15th as well, because the federal budget hasn't been approved yet by Pres. Obama. so the only thing they'll be getting is BAH. oh, this goes for Retirees as well from what i understand.

will you be affected?

  • We haven't heard that yet...so I am holding out hope! My husband is active duty. We need this money right now, we are "evacuating" to MI for an unknown amount of time. This really sucks if it happens...I don't know how much more of this crap I can handle!
