  • Probably didn't ruin them, just bland. Do you spread whipped cream over the top of them? Maybe just sprinkle some spice on the pies before the whipped cream? Maybe no one will notice. :)

  • Oh well it will miss that pumpkin pie flavor, lets see that spice would of subsituted for ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg major ingredients in a pumpkin pie.

    Good luck!

  • he pies will be bland, for sure. but you can make an easy praline topping to go over over the top. that will add the unexpected punch back in. put 2s tablespoon of butter in a skillet. melt. add pecan peices to the butter, cook for just afew minutes until pecans began to smell good and brown up a bit. not to much or they will burn. then add a cup to a cup and a half of sugar to the mixture. continue stiring, the sugar will burn quickly. cook until sugar melts and is boiling. again, be careful not to burn the sugar. med. to low heat. boil for a couple minutes. pour out onto a greesed cookie sheet. cool. crumble on top of pie. then top with whipped cream if you like
