I need ideas for food for a monkey themed party!

My son is turning two in Dec and we are going with a Monkey theme. I am going to use Banana Bread for the cake/cupcakes, whichever we do, but other than that, I am stumped. I think I will also do virgin pinecoladas...past that...I am stumped. I want it to be fun and cost effective. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

  • You should think jungle foods so the exotic fruits is always a good thing. There are bananna cream pies, coconuts etc and what you can't get to taste bannana you can do in yellow or monkey shapes that would be cute as well.

  • Monkey Munch! It is a ChexMix thing, you can make a ton of it... I don't have the recipe but it is soo good, and your little one can help make it.

  • Monkey Food: Set out bananas around the party as decorations and quick snack food if the kids get hungry.
