Do you still have the same religion or faith that you did when you were growing up?

Some people change their religion when they get older. Some change because of a spouse. Have you changed religions or your beliefs?

  • I was raised in a Christian household, though always encouraged to think and consider for myself. I wouldn't say my religion or beliefs have "changed", but they've always been in a state of cultivation and growth. I'm still a Christian, and doubt I could be anything else, given my foundation in Christianity, but I consider myself a Christian Universalist and constantly study, discuss, and pull from the various faiths of the world, believing each is as valid a path as any of the others. We each just have to find our own way, and given that Christianity is the lens through which I see and understand things the most, I know that Christianity is what works best for me, even if I tend to be unorthodox or even, dare I say, "heretcial" (funny word, when you know what it actually means... its not as negative as you may think) ;)
