  • I am getting mine ready this week. We already planted our seeds and my mom is taking care of them in her greenhouse. I am planting tomatoes, potatoes, peppers, jalapenos, green beans, pickling cucumbers, basil and parsley. Oh and radishes, carrots and onions.

Plus a ton of flowers. Mostly petunias, zinnias, dahlias and sunflowers.

  • We're doing a container garden. I need to get a little soil, and we''re doing carrots, squash, sugar snap peas, strawberries and green beans! We're also growing some wildflowers/herbs, and I have a mint plant that I've almost killed three times and it has always come back lol. And a calla lilly that I'm unsure about lol. It came back miraculously last year, we'll see what it does this year!

  • It first has to decide to be spring (meaning NO MORE SNOW!), then we have to wait for it to dry out - our garden is currenly a swamp. So, if we're lucky, even though I'd like to have already planted my peas, and you're supposed to plant potatoes on Good Friday, it'll be the last week of May or first week of June when we plant. Love Iowa...

  • No time this year. The summer travel schedule is all booked up and kids keep us too busy.
