How do I increase my milk supply?

my 3 month old is growing so quickly, and my breasts aren't seeming to keep up... i feed her until they're both dry, and she's still hungry... the last few nights, i've had to supplement her last feeding with formula , and i really don't want to end up doing this forever... so PLEASE HELP!!

  • Three months is growth spurt time. Just leave her on the breast,. as long as she wants to be there. Burp, offer the other side. You're never truly empty. And if she fusses, that's stimulates your supply.

Drop by the Breastfeeding Moms group; we have a sticky on the homepage with every trick known to woman for increasing supply. But likely you're doing just fine...only sign of a problem is a drop in dipe changes.

  • Yup, the tea and oatmeal. But I have heard it has to be the slow cooked oatmeal, not instant. Not 100% on that, so you may need to look it up. Good luck!
