In today's world, could you function without your cell phone?? My cell phone travels with me all the time. It is just as important as my car keys and wallet. I would be total "lost" with out it.

I, too, would be lost with my cell phone. I'm, presently seeking a civil service job for Erie County. I've been receiving canvass letters from potential employers. I leave my cell phone number with the potential employers, when I respond to the letters, because I, presently, have a dialup Internet connection, and I can't receive telephone calls on my land line, when I'm connected to the Internet..

I don't own one and get on perfectly fine. Why do you feel the need to 'be connected' 24/7?
