Do you think deaths comes in threes?

We had a death in the family. Why does it seem like it comes in threes.

  • I am a true believer that death comes in threes. If its in the family or a friend of the family. Some people say that they can hear death bells ringing in three right before some one dies

  • I believe that to be an old wives tale but there are times that it does seem to be true. I'm sorry for your loss.

  • Nope, its just something that is a coincidence for some. How close together are the "3's" you're talking about?

My grandma passed away a few years back, then last year my uncle passed away. No other deaths surrounding either of their deaths that I know of :/

  • Sadly, yes. My father was killed in a car accident in November, a nurse I worked with died in February, and last night a family friend died of cancer. Her passing was on the 4 month anniversary of my father's death.
