  • Most already have that, here in Cali the lifetime benefit for cash aid is 5 years.

Then ALL states need to do the same and ENFORCE the laws!! How are multiple generations able to stay on welfare--because we know it's true that they do?!

  • Lifetime limits on cash and child benefits, for starters.

  • The same as gun laws - for the rules already in place to be enforced.

Which is my point - all but a few states already have lifetime limits and multiple hoops to jump through. The issue isn't in the rules, it's in the rules being enforced. People stay on longer because they game the system, not because the law just lets them do it.

Most already have that, here in Cali the lifetime benefit for cash aid is 5 years. The 2 short times we were on it we received notices of how many months were used and how many remained. Also, in Cali, they don't increase your cash benefits for more kids, unless you can prove you were trying not to get pregnant. I had to show pharmacy records for my bc pills.

  • Only a few hundred people are welfare cheats, so don't look there to save money.
