Dizziness? Worried...

My fifteen year old daughter was out running with some friends this morning. She came home about three hours ago complaining of a bad headache and dizziness. I had her lie down and drink some water and gatorade. She's still not feeling any better. She's not suffering any other symptoms. What would you do? Should I call a doctor?

  • call just to be safe. But for the dizziness she might have over done it running or could be an ear infection. Check to see if any pain or ears hurt.

  • make sure she stays hydrated for sure. if she is pretty active, then 2-3 liters of water a day is good!
i would also take her to a chiropractor.

  • I would call her doctor right away. If she still isn't better, I would take her to the emergency room.

  • Has she eaten anything? Exercise can cause blood glucose spikes & dips.
