  • very. but I am getting better somewhat as they're getting bigger. My son was at a friends house last night for 2 1/2 hours.

He has no idea I spent the entire time spying on him thru a window, lol.... but I'm getting better since he didn't KNOW, plus I actually allowed him to go and didn't call once.

  • No, I was never called that when my son was growing up.

To be fair though.. Society's idea of "over protective" seems (well to me any to have changed since my son was born (20 years ago).. There are things that were the "norm" back then, that some parents would freak out over these days.. lol.. Just like when I was born 48 years ago, there were things that were the "norm" that parents would have freaked out about by the time my son was born..

  • Under normal circumstances, I'm not, but when I know that my kids are sick, hurt, or in a position where they are likely to get sick or hurt, I get a little crazy. Otherwise, I try to let them make their own mistakes.
