  • punish both. Eventually the guilty one shines thru by the one that is happiest with ur decision to punish both instead of jus one

  • I know with my 3 year old if I threaten TIME OUT he confesses. I have always explained to my children that if they are lieing then "this" is going to happen. I usually can get them to tell me the truth. If neither will confess than they both get punished.

  • Accidents happen, I don't always punish for them. I punish for hitting, rudeness, disobedience, and mouthyness, but not for an accident. Do I want to be punished if I accidentally break something?
