Does shutting off or partially shutting off your registers help heat the other rooms?

Just curious if that truly works?

  • It has for us. We shut down the ones in the rooms that are not used right now so more heat goes to the rooms that we do use.

  • We have forced hot water heat, doesn't work that way for this system. I've tried, nothing changes.
