WHAT ARE THE BEST EXERCISES FOR ABS?

I FINALLY GOT RID OF MY POOCH BUT MY STOMACH STILL STICKS OUT A LITTLE BIT. I WANT IT FLAT. ANY TIPS OR ADVICE? I HAVE LOST WEIGHT JUST BY CUTTING DOWN ALOT AND DRINKING MORE WATER. JUST LOOKING TO FLATTEN MY STOMACH NOW.

  • Want to know the most effective ab exercises? The following ab exercise is results of the American Council on Exercise's study to determine the most effective ab exercises. The Bicycle exercise is the best move to target the rectus abdominis (i.e., the 'six pack') and the obliques (the waist), according to a study done by the American Council on Exercise. To do this exercise correctly: 1. Lie face up on the floor and lace your fingers behind your head. 2. Bring the knees in towards the chest and lift the shoulder blades off the ground without pulling on the neck. 3. Straighten the left leg out while simultaneously turning the upper body to the right, bringing the left elbow towards the right knee. 4. Switch sides, bringing the right elbow towards the left knee. 5. Continue alternating sides in a 'pedaling' motion for 12-16 reps.

  • Google up on~ top 10 most effective Ab excersise to pull up the rest but if you are wanting to get rid of a belly pooch then you need do CARDIO. Yes, Cardio is what is going to help you lose the weight not Ab workouts. You can have GREAT abs underneath but wont see them if you are holding on to a little belly fat. Work your way up to 30-40 mins. of cardio. CARDIO VS WEIGHT TRAINING your muscles. Cardio will take off the pds & weight training to build up your muscles will keep the weight off. Muscle needs protein & when you eat, The first thing from you body that takes the food is your muscles & whatever is left will be waste. So my tip for you is to do cardio to lose the weight that you want & then start building muscle to keep it off.

  • you really need to have a low body fat percentage (below 17 for women) to have abs. that means continue with cardiovascular.

  • for those over 35, our abs are harder to firm up; but keep doing all the ab exercises. loose skin is always the problem--you could consult a plastic surgeon but know all the risks and become educated about what it entails.
