An example of fine leadership?

Another brilliant piece by Krauthammer.

President Obama is proud of how he put together the Libyan operation. A model of international cooperation. All the necessary paperwork. Arab League backing. A Security Council resolution. (Everything but a resolution from the Congress of the United States, a minor inconvenience for a citizen of the world.) It’s war as designed by an Ivy League professor.

Yep! All of the "feel good" yet IMPRACTICAL theories of someone who would instantly curl up in the fetal position if ever put in a ground combat position. *sigh*

  • A few weeks ago, posters were saying he had to take some action in Libya instead of golfing.....so he took some action, the bombs are dropping and the Allies are with us.....BUT you are still complaining.
    What DO you want?
    GMAB.......
He can never do anything right as far as you people think....or are you thinking at all or is it just a knee-jerk reaction?
Personally I think he should have let the Allies go in there and just brought our Servicemen and women home. But....no, you guys wanted him to do something about Libya instead of remaining silent about it and going golfing.
I swear, you are a bunch of wishy-washy, flip-flopping people.
    Make up your minds!

  • LOL...in times past the King fought with his armies! Some of the Queen's fought with theirs too. Obama would wet his pants on the heli flight to the line.

Has he figured out what the objective is yet?

    You FINALLY get it!! LOL

It's not that he's doing what we thought he should, it's that he did so, WITHOUT Congress' blessings!! He did NOT go through the proper channels, and therefore, I think his getting the US involved with Libya would be one of those ILLEGAL wars that you and the other libs CONTINUE in lambasting Bush over-when it's clear that Bush worked WITH the UN AND CONGRESS!!

And gerpie wasn't even on here then.

But perhaps you should try reading the link rather than just being a blind follower of everything Obama??

  • Yes, he should have followed the appropriate channels.

Why do people think that Obama would fold under pressure in a combat situation? WHY? Is he too smart to be broken? Do you feel the same way about those 18 years olds , many of whom likely had few, if any, other options  after HS, and have probably never left US soil before deploying? Really I'd love to hear the logic.

I'd say it's gone beyond his policies-
