What do you think of Christian parents who kick their kids out and/or cut off contact if their children are gay?

  • I don't think they are truly Christian. I think they are homophobic, horrible people. I can't imagine throwing my son out for any reason.

  • I think they're hurt, angry and confused but will come around eventually. At least, I hope they do. Also, I've known parents that have done that who are not christians.

  • i agree with bootsky...

    christians are suppose to show kindness. most they time they don't do that. i've seen teen girls get pregnant and their christian parents kick them out. i've got a cousin thats gay and her mother is suppose to be a christian and she tries to buy her off if she would stop living her life style.

    all of which goes against the teachings of their christ.

  • I think you have to realise that they think their children will burn in hell for being that way. However I think that cutting them off would not be the true christian thing to do, surely keeping in contact and trying to dissuade them would be better.. I don't know I'm out on this one, I'm not religious personally, but I guess if that was my honest opinion I'm not sure what I'd do.
