Didn't he say days?

Weren't we told that the rush to "Kinetic" military action in Libya would last a few days? Now they are saying Months.

More proof that Obama and his adm are in over their heads, with no message, no plan and no end game? No one wanting to lead, major powers calling for a cease fire from NATO and UN troops and the Arab League request, so important to Obama, now crying foul.

  • Well....there are an average of 30 DAYS in a MONTH...perhaps he just "misspoke" and MEANT something on the order of 180 DAYS?!?!? I think he should be given a free pass, don't you--I mean it's hard to do your job while partaking in a Brazilian conga line, you know!! LOL :o)

Obama is supposed to have yet another address Monday to better explain himself on this subject. This ought to be good. NOT. More like 1/2 truth's and lies. But I still Like Obama. He's WAY better than Bush ever was.

  • He thinks he is GHW Bush and will be in and out of Iraq in 90 hours. The whole campaign only lasted about 6 weeks. He thinks that the only way to wage war is to have actual people on the ground. Does he understand that 'kinetic' means action. In this war, dropping bombs is 'kinetic' because there is an effect on the ground of things blowing up and people dying? He uses this term without the where-with-all that there are a lot of people who have been in the military and understand the implication. The rest of us can look it up. He is IN a kinetic war. It is a lot easier to get into a war than get out of one. He needs Stormin' Norman to wage his kinetic war and get out in 90 hours.

  • Not surprised in the least. He is definetly in over his head, has no clue what he's doing, and is too much of a narcissistic egomaniac to admit it! And, we are all paying the price for his buffoonery. They should name this administration the Barry and Michelle comedy hour! And, NOW he will speak-I mean read off his teleprompter again?! Why, to re-hash all his lies, in case someone didn't hear them before now? Jesse, you really hit the nail on the head! GOD! Is it Jan.20,2013 yet?

  • It's all a joke, a horrible, horrible joke.
They complained mercilessly about Bushes "war". At least he knew what the goal was and why we were there.
Obama and the UN don't even know what they are doing or what they are expecting the outcome to be.

  • So do any of the downvoters have anything they would like to actually contribute? Coming through and adding nothing but down votes is a sure indication of someone without the brains to make a rebuttal.

i seem to remember you were all anti- Gaddafi but now your tone seems to have changed and .you are being your usual nasty selves for Obama having gone in, with allies, in the first place . He has handled a very delicate situation very well without resorting to the monstrous lies and massive troop deployments GWB used to justify the invasion of Iraq .

So what do you want Potus to do ? Withdraw and apologise ? Send in ground troops ? State your prefernce, be positive instead of whining and complaining

We've very clearly stated our wishes in any the many OTHER threads on this specific topic in the last couple of weeks. Just because you can't be bothered to look up our responses in the CM archives, and need us to constantly repeat them is not our problem!! :o)
