I heard....

from my mom today, that hospitials don't take baby pictures anymore? Really?

  • No most hospital encorage it as well as they come in just to photogragh your baby, which I thought was very sweet. You can also buy the picture they take of your baby.

  • Where i live they don't allow video's of the birth or pictures of the it unless its waist up :( but it could be different so check it out with your hospital

  • they take pictures for you and you can buy them. they don't like people to take videos of the birth though

  • My sister had her baby a month ago. They didn't do the classic pic in the white with that hospital blanket but instead they took one of her and the baby and at the bottom of the picture it said mommy and me!

  • My hospital does allow video of the birth but most do not anymore, as far a pics they offered a snap shot if we wanted but did not do the professional photos anymore. My baby was the only one in the nursery at the time, very small L&D only 6 rooms.


    Usually the prenatal/birthing class at your hospital will give you all that info.
