5 year old incontinence? adult content

Is it normal for a potty trained 5 year old to start "having accidents" (only number one) on her bedroom carpet and in her pants durning the day, but no accidents at night? Whats the deal? HELP!!!

  • Well, it could be her Dad being gone or an attention thing. Just keep bringing her to the potty and have her sit. Don't get upset....retrain if you have to.

  • WELL I HAVE A 6 YR OLD SON AND WHENEVER HE HAD THOSE KIND OF ACCIDENTS IN THE PAST IT WAS BECAUSE HE DIDNT WANT TO STOP DOING WHAT HE WAS DOING..THAT WAS THE ONLY REASON...

  • That can be a sign of a UTI or other medical issue ilke that or possibly a sign of abuse.

  • Shes not abused, shes with me almost all the time. Grandma is with her when Im not, and she babies her a lot too. She doesnt have a UTI, thats what I thought when she started having the accidents. Her dad did just recently start a new job and he went from being home all the time to working 70-80 hours a week and rarely getting home in time for dinner. I stay at home with them and quit my job to make sure there are no strange people in my kids lives...
