Helmets for 18 month olds

So there are helmets that say 1+ however that one doesn't fit one of my twins. it really seems too small. the 3+ one seems to fit better.

how do i know if it really fits, and is it okay to buy him the 3+ one??

  • Some kids have big heads. Get the one that fits. My older son has always had a huge head. He never fit in the toddler sized helmets. When he was 3 he had to have the 5+ sized ones and at 5 needed one for 8+. Heck he's 9 now and wears the same size baseball cap as me and has for a few years. I can take his off his head and put it on mine and it fits perfectly.

  • If it fits snuggly, without being too wobbly, then you should be okay.
