  • Occasionally, but I've learned how to deal with her. When my DH and I first got married, she drove me absolutely CRAZY. Thank goodness she's mellowed out a bit and I have learned effective coping skills, or I'd be bald! lol

  • Unfortunately, my MIL's craziness is mostly due to her having had a historectomy at a very young age, and having been put on many different medications. I think they've finally gotten it level'd out for her, but she's still very....oh what's the word....wanting to be in everybody's business? After every time we have a kid (or when the next one was announced), she had to say, "You two don't need anymore kids." I swear, I'd get pregnant again if I wasn't "too old" (I told myself I didn't want to have any more kids after a certain age, and I'm now that certain age...still young enough to have kids, but old enough I really don't want to go through it AGAIN) just to spite her, LOL. OK, no I wouldn't, because that'd just be more torture for me, LOL.

  • I'm so blessed. We get along better than her real daughters and other DIL. We like the same foods and shows. I'm the only one in the family she'll listen to. I massage her hair and brush it when she is angry (cussing everyone out and fighting) . My husband doesn't even understand how we are so close. I think he even gets jealous sometimes. LOL.

  • Well yes sometimes....but the said thing is that after I had my first child one of her friends seen me, her, and my hubby out and told me that my MIL didn't want my hubby to marry me....So she does drive me crazy sometimes but thats why he don't go to his mothers house have the time.

  • I can't stand he or my SIL for that fact of the matter; MIL dresses like a teenager or someone in their early 20's would dress and doesn't have the figure to be wearing these type of clothes ans SIL don't get me started with her!!(this is mother and daughter)
