what are some good and legitimate work-at-home jobs besides daycare?

most seem like scams. some want your money first. some just seem too risky. I wanna work at home from my computer or phone or be doing some kind of craft at home that brings in extra money.

  • Did you do something before you became a mom that you could convert to doing at home? For example, I worked in the publishing industry before I had my daughter and now I do part-time proofreading for local companies from home.

Also, you mentioned you were crafty. There's a mom in my area who is a Stamping Up demonstrator. It might want to be something you could check out. Here's the Web site: http://www.stampinup.com/us/enu/4262.asp

  • I don't know what your educational background is, but there are a lot of jobs that let you work from home if you have a business degree. If you have your masters, you can teach online classes from home. I only have my associates and I tutor classes for an online college from home. It doesn't pay a LOT of money, but I get by, especially when I consider the money saved in daycare and gas!
