Do you need an appointment for glasses?

Just wondering. Also are most eye glasses places open sundays?

  • i dont think so.. and i know some are but some arent i would def call ahead if you wnat to go in on a sunday

  • Yes you have to have an appointment, they usually require an exam as well. Out here they are closed on sunday.

  • in my doctor's office, you do - but some of the mall places are open sundays, and you never need an appointment at those sometimes -

  • you will need an exam. unless you already have a recent prescription in hand, from an exam, you can't just go in a retail store and buy them.

  • if you have a prescription that is up to date, i dont see why you would need one.. most offices give you a 24-48 hour prescription so you can go where you want to.

  • yes you need an appt to get an eye exams and new glasses but if you have a prescription no you don't need one. i go to american best and they are not open on sundays.

  • i go tot he eye dr in walmart.. u do need appts but usually i get in the same day when i went. and yes their open on sundays
