Do you buy just name brand or switch it up for food?

For me it depends on what I buy. Like some chips, seasonings, tea and sauces I do buy name brand because I have tried the other none name brands and they don't have the same flavor.

  • Depends on what I am buying and the brand. Sometimes certain food just taste better if they are brand name. When I comes to noodles, canned food, things I know there is no difference, I buy store brand.

  • I am not brand loyal except for mayonnaise and Worcester Sauce . There are a few brands I will not buy either because they are overpriced or because of contents .

  • Really I buy whatever is the cheapest, unless I've had it before and it was awful!! lol. But like, I tend to buy Jiff pb more often, miracle whip more often, that kind of thing.

  • Very few things will I buy based on brand name, most is whatever is the least expensive. We do buy only Miracle Whip and Helman's because the generic mayos taste funny. I only buy Cascade dish detergent because nothing else works as well, and that kind of thing.

  • Certain things (very few, but ketchup is one) have to be a specific brand name. Certain things have to be a specific generic. And the rest, I just get what's cheapest when I need it.

  • I do both too. I love Kroger Chop house steak marinade, but hate their Asian one. I like Newman's salad dressing but hate Kroger brand. I like Sara Lee soft whole wheat bread, but haven't found a store brand I like.
