Need new snack ideas for school

My dd let me know this morning shes tired of the snacks I send for snack time. Her teacher does provide snacks for kids who dont bring in their own, but they usually are not as nutritious as what I pack for dd. I have sent her with (not at once 1 a day lol):

Applesauce cups
Carrots & dip
Apple slices with yogurt dip or caramel
Bananas
Yogurt

Thats all I really could think of thats portable and easy to eat in 10 minutes. Any other ideas?

  • string cheese (most stores offer 3-5 dif kinds)

    100 calorie packs of (???)

My son has to bring a snack to school daily too. We buy in bulk on amazon.com (free shipping) jammy sammys (organic and yummers) and also peanut butter crackers by a brand called late july. they come in little snack size bags and are less salt/fat than say Ritz you'd get at local store

  • frozen gogurt, grapes, whole wheat crackers with cheese slices/cream cheese, apple slices with peanut butter, string cheese, nuts, trail mix, dried fruits, raisens,....I make my DD a faux banana split (banana split length wise and sprinkles with a little cinnamon sugar and pecans). We also make some trail mix crispy treats with cheerios, sunflower seeds, raisins, craisins, or any dried fruit, and of course the marshmellow mixture. (Yes it's got some sugar but tons of healthy stuff too, and lots of fun)
