Low DHEA . . . what could THAT mean?

So, I have been extremely fatigued and my hair is starting to fall out. The doc did tons of blood panels. What came of it? Low Vitamin D and very low DHEA.

Does anyone else deal with low DHEA? Why does that hormone get low? How much do you take to supplement?

I am being sent to the endocrinologist to figure out what is happening, but I have to wait for a referral and an appt.

  • The is essential steroidal hormone and helps with production and elevation of estrogen. It is them main hormone that supports the adrenal glands and gonad glands. If you are low it would make you very tired, low sex drive and weird periods...Sometimes having kids, certain foods, and birth controls can make you become low leveled. Id get a 200mg from the store and pop one a day. Would help you a lot
