Eating Ragu Sauce During Pregnancy?

Is it safe to eat during pregnancy? The tradtional kind says it has cheese in it made with park skim milk an cheese cultures? Who the milk be pasturized?

  • If you bought it in America the milk was parturized. Has to be by law.

  • well... not pasturized milk is (so did i hear) the best stuff in the whole world. thats what ppl drank before they even heard about pasturization ;)

    but anyway. yes you can eat that stuff... its tasty.

  • All cheese, milk, dairy product in stores in the USA are pasteurized.

  • It wouldn't make sense for them not to pasteurize it. If it wasn't pasteurized, it wouldn't keep.

  • It's not going to hurt you. I ate it while I was pregnant. The food products in America go through a really strictly laid set of rules pertaining to food safety. I use to work in an ice cream factory. We have labs that test for many different unsafe things that could be in a product. If it wasn't safe, it wouldn't be made or sold in America. So eat up and enjoy :)
