  • 4 months is a little young to have such an attachment and to be having a meltdown over it...give her another blankie

  • Do you have a soft stuffed animal? Maybe that and lots of hugs.

  • anything that smells like her. Get the outfit she wore yesterday.

  • Anything that looks or feels like it. it may "trick" her long enough for you to find it. DS has had a blanket since about that age so i understand.

  • poor baby :( my friend's daughter is like that...she's almost 3 and has carried the same blankie since she was born :) I would find something similar in texture and just walk with her until she calms down.

  • similar textured toy. we also had this situation and sent out an 'all family' notice to everyone familiar with it. my cousin-in-law had a pink one (i have a boy) that worked until we found it.
