Pull out method failure

My husband and I had sex around the time of ovulation. We used the "pull out method" now I am late and think I may be pregnant. How possible is this?

  • Fairly possible. It's not birth control and there is still sperm in precum.

  • Duh - it is the most reliably BAD method of birth control out there.....right along with the "rhythm" method. Unless he is certified "sterile" after a vasectomy - ALL the "liquid" coming from your man's penis has sperm in it.

  • VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY possible. You might as well of let him go all the way because the pull out method is no method at all!

    Take a test!

  • I am just optimistic... We have used it for years. Tried for the one we have. I may just be in denial. Lol
